This is the best jump rope because it is personalized to your height, it has a durable cord with three thicknesses, important for speed and most importantly, the swivel gears in the handles. This allows for smoother rotation of the rope. PLEASE NOTE: jump ropes are customized to your height as well as your choice in thickness of rope. New cords are only $10 each, which is a great deal. <Rx Jump Rope>
This is my favorite protein because it’s clean and it’s a no brainer. I’ve almost bought a protein with creatine in it which would have sucked because that is not my goal, nor is it something I want in my body. I’ve linked the Sport protein because it has some extra stuff in it to help with your workout. Also it’s thicker, which is great for shakes, NOT great for protein pancakes. <Vega>
This is a book I’m reading right now and it’s amazing. It’s really out there, but I believe every word and it has confirmed my thoughts and also changed the way I see life and my purpose, as well as death. If you struggle with finding your purpose, if you’re afraid of living, or afraid of dying…read. <Journey of Souls>
There is no aluminum or antiperspirant stuff in here, just good ingredients for your pits. The bar is a bit harder on your skin than the original pots, but much less fussy. I just give it a moment to warm up before I fully apply. <Schmidt’s>
Barlean’s is great. It HAS to have LIGNANS in it. That’s what makes everything grow. I am not a doctor, please check with your physician so you don’t sue me. I take it in the morning on an empty stomach. Chase with water. Drink your coffee or your smoothie or munch your toast or whatever you do. Full disclosure, my favorite brand is Trader Joe’s, but they don’t have online shopping and they have limited locations. < Barlean’s>
You COULD use a simple notebook, but the <Morning Pages> made it fun and habitual when I started journaling again. Every morning I do a “brain dump” onto my morning pages, while drinking my coffee blended with MCT oil and then I meditate. Rad.
I know this says <Psychic School>, but after years of struggling to learn how to meditate, this was the one method that finally worked for me. I’ve tried the apps, the youtube guided meditations, focusing on my breath, all of it (except for TM because $$). This is by far the best way I’ve learned meditation and it’s fun.
The first time I heard about The Himalayan Cataract Project I was watching old episodes of VICE on HBO. This particular organization caught my eye (pun), when the patients bandages were removed a mere 24 hours after their surgery and they could see again. I dare you to watch it and not feel compelled to help - especially when you learn the cost of site for these people is only $100. For $100 you can help someone get their life back. That’s a night on town y’all. Stay in, help someone see again. <The Himalayan Cataract Project>
I’ve used half & half for years, but I didn’t like that I was consuming dairy. I tried this in place of the creamer and I kicked the dairy immediately. Blend a tablespoon with your pot of coffee in a magic bullet or a regular blender. It’s creamy and foamy, as if you’ve just ordered a cafe au lait. <Sports Research MCT Oil>
This is the most effective at-home exfoliant I’ve ever tried. I love results and this one packs a bunch without overdoing it. They also have a version with self-tanner in it. That’s a win-win. <Dr. Gross Pads>
Even though I do eyelash extensions for work, I’ve never personally had them. Instead I use mascara and I’m often asked which is my favorite. This is it, ladies. My fave. <Lash Paradise>
After all these years it’s still you, <Bare Escentuals>. If any other mineral foundations would like me to put it to the test, send me an email. Until then, BE gives you the best coverage, with great ingredients, for the best price. I personally traveled all over the United States with this company back in 2010 and even met the beloved Leslie Blodgett. Just FYI, I prefer the matte finished, as opposed to the original finish. <Bare Escentuals>
I’m a terrible cook and a terrible eater. I eat simply to be able to keep going (fuel). I knew my diet was lacking vegetables and other super foods so when I came across this it was a no brainer. By the way, I’ve tried some other popular and expensive brands this is truly my fave thus far. If I find one I like better, I’ll up this post. <Country Farms Super Greens >
Suze breaks it down into super simple, step-by-step instructions on how we can become financially intelligent and protect our legacies as women. I love her delivery, her story, her belief in God and her information. Once you’ve gotten out of debt (I can help you with this), and started a savings, Suze comes in and guides you home to your nest egg. <Women & Money>
I didn’t know what a memoir was until I read this book in 2007. Since then I’ve gifted it more than any other book - probably because I identify with it so much but I’m still unable to tell my own story. Jeannette Walls is a master at bringing you into her world as if you were standing right there with her in the soggy Appalachian Mountains, begging God to give her one break. <The Glass Castle>
Let me count the ways I love these leggings. They fit me, I don’t have to get the cropped length and ignore the gaping ankles - they just fit. I work out HARD. I do burpees and squats and cardio and running in these and they don’t show embarrassing sweaty crotch, they don’t sag and they’ve not ripped. And to top it off…they’re $50 (at the time of this post they were on sale for $34.46). AND OH MY GOSH HOW COULD I FORGET Aerie does NOT retouch their photos! Living in a place like Los Angeles (where thigh gap surgery is encouraged), I love shopping on a site where women’s thighs rub together. Like mine. <Aerie>
